Family Road Trip Essential: LapFit

As a family always on the go we keep an eye out for the latest and the best road trip travel essentials especially for the kids. Kora & Logan do a great job in the car and it’s never a problem to drive 20 minutes to an after school activity or 3 1/2 hours to their grandparents house with them. However, we like to keep them happy and entertained along the way whenever we can, that’s why I was excited to learn about a great product that will make traveling even easier and more fun for them.

LapFit is an amazing 2-in-1 product that is both a travel tray for activities and a portable snack table for kids.

Lapfit Tray

Lapfit Junior ReviewThe top tray is a flat surface that is perfect for coloring, drawing, reading etc. It even comes with a molded section that helps keeps crayons, markers, and bookmarks in place.

Lapfit Junior ReviewsIn the past we’ve given Kora & Logan crayons and coloring books for road trips only to have them accidentally drop the crayons on the floor or in between the seats. They get frustrated and soon give up on coloring. Now thanks to the LapFit everything will stay in place and they’ll be able to color happily.

Lapfit ReviewOnce it’s time to eat you simply pop off the EasyFit cover and now the kids have places to put their juice boxes, snacks, sandwiches and more. There is a hole for drinks and molded areas for ketchup and other dipping sauces too.

Lapfit Tray ReviewWhen eating a meal or snack while traveling, the kids will often have a difficult time figure out how to hold and access everything. In the past we never allowed them to have ketchup in the car because there just was no place to put it. Now with the LapFit they have a nice tray to spread everything out on and are able to enjoy ketchup and other dipping sauces whenever they’d like.

Lapfit ReviewsNot only does the 2-in-1 feature, the molded areas, and holes for drinks make the LapFit unique but my other favorite feature is that the bottom of the tray is molded to fit comfortably on the children’s legs which help keep it in place. It’s a great idea that makes for a more sturdy travel tray and snack table.

I also like that this company has truly thought of everything when designing this product. They recognized that different size children need different size trays. You can choose from Toddler Trays and Junior Trays now and LapFits Tweens & Teens and a LapFit Pro will be coming soon.

We recommend the LapFit to anyone looking for a way to make traveling in the car easier for both kids and parents. It’s a family road trip travel essential that will keep everyone happy along the way.

I really like that they come in different sizes. We took a road trip last summer and I swear more things landed on the floor of the car then we even brought with us. Thanks for the review.

  11. These look great for the car. My kids would love to have a flat surface to work on in the car.

  12. I love this idea! Not just for kids, either. How many times on a road trip have you spilled your drink or ketchup or whatever because there just isn’t enough space or hands for holding it all? A couple of these might be coming to live with us soon. :)
