Whenever I travel, I always pack workout clothes. Sometimes multiple sets and shoes too. I even go so far as checking out the fitness facilities at wherever I arrive. But do I ever actually workout? Nope.
Well, that’s not entirely true. When we went to Cancun about 5 years ago, I actually did use the resort gym 3 or 4 times. That’s been about it. When we went to Disney in April, Dave and I packed clothes to go for runs in the morning.
We didn’t run once.
We are usually pretty active on our vacations so I always try to justify my lack of exercising as being made up for in all of our walking or playing in the water. So I guess that counts a little.
I will probably still continue to pack workout clothes every trip hoping that one of these times I’ll actually use them. It’s a great idea and I really do want to get into it. I just have to find the motivation and stop sleeping in so much!
